Hartford Baking Company Expanding With New South Windsor Location
The baking company's fourth retail cafe is expected to open on Sullivan Avenue in the spring.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Hartford Baking Company, one of the top bread retailers in Connecticut since its founding in 2010, is adding a fourth retail location in South Windsor next spring. The cafe will be located in a new plaza, currently under construction, at 150 Sullivan Avenue.
"We've had our eye on this market for a while and were thrilled to learn about the development project at 150 Sullivan Ave.," president Scott Kluger said. "When we found out we had an opportunity to be the anchor tenant and a drive-through, we had to say yes. This new location will be our biggest with not only a drive-through, but also a "market concept" of prepared foods, more sandwiches on the menu, and a much larger bakery showcase and much more variety."
The new site will consist of more than 3,000 square feet and will also feature call ahead and online ordering features. The drive-through will provide fast easy access to delicious coffee and sandwiches.
