Heat Restored At South Windsor Town Hall After Monday Closure
Officials said Town Hall had no heat earlier, as 1 to 2 feet of snow fell across parts of Connecticut.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A heating issue that forced the closure of all Town of South Windsor facilities on Monday has been resolved, town officials said.
In an email to Patch, South Windsor Police Sgt. Ed Klein said Town Hall had no heat earlier, but the problem has since been fixed.
The closure followed a major winter storm that impacted Connecticut over the weekend into Monday, with roughly 1 to 2 feet of snow reported in parts of the state. Town officials have not said whether the storm contributed to the heating issue.
