Installation of New Water Main to Close Road in South Windsor

In preparation for the reconstruction of Avery Street, the Connecticut Water Company has begun relocation of their existing water main.

Avery Street will be temporarily closed during the day (6 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to install the new water main under existing drainage culverts located just north of Kelly Road. This work will begin on Monday morning, July 6 and be completed on Friday afternoon, July 10. An alternate route will be established to direct traffic around the temporary closure from Woodland Drive to Willow Street back to Kelly Road. Avery Street will be open for traffic during the evening hours.
