One reason a teenage boy doesn’t talk to his parents is because they feel uncomfortable in some way. Do you call him names, criticize his ideas, invade his space, or pressure him to talk to you? If yes, there’s your answer. If no, then maybe your son is just a quite person and would rather be around a few people instead of a lot. In other words, he might just be an introvert.
