SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are the latest arrests made by the South Windsor Police Department.

Arrest log information reflects charges filed, which are not indications of guilt.

Jose W. Aviles, 49, of Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny. He is accused of stealing items from his employer and attempting to conceal them prior to leaving the premises, according to a report.

Samantha R. Bender, 19, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane, according to a report. Bender was observed operating her vehicle erratically and was subsequently stopped. She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 16, police said.

Stephen W. Burke, 26, of South Windsor, was charged on five arrest warrants. Burke is
currently incarcerated awaiting pending court cases, police said. Burke's charges stem from larceny charges related to shoplifting at a local business and withdrawing money from a family member’s bank account, according to a report.
