LETTER: Don't Accept the Status Quo - Vote for Mirek

Voters have a fresh new alternative to the status quo in the 3rd District for State Senator. Carolyn Mirek is just that voice.

Carolyn works for everyone and considers all inquiries important, she listens, gains understanding of an issue and seeks out resolutions. It is not unusual for Carolyn to make multiple calls on a topic to ask tough questions.

I remember when Carolyn decided to run, she contacted her opponent to ask about a situation and he had no information to provide her and took no action to get back to her. Carolyn was frustrated and decided that enough was enough and took the giant step to make a change in local government representation at the Senate level.

Carolyn will make a positive difference and I hope that voters in South Windsor, Ellington, East Windsor and especially East Hartford move from the same old status quo and make the change.
