Listeria Concern Prompts Stop & Shop Broccoli Recall
Stop & Shop on Wednesday said it is recalling 16-ounce packages of broccoli.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Stop & Shop on Wednesday said it is recalling 16-ounce packages of Private Brands Frozen Broccoli Cuts after the discovery of listeria in batch in South Windsor.
The state Department of Consumer Protection's Foods and Standards Division detected Listeria Monocytogenes during routine testing of the broccoli from the Stop & Shop at 1739 Ellington Road in South Windsor.
Stop & Shop then issued a voluntary recall, according to state officials.

The recalled packages include:
- UPC code 068826700926
- Date Stamp: Best by MAR 15, 2020
Customers may return the packages for a full refund, Stop & Shop officials said.
