SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A drive-up mailbox at the South Windsor Post Office appears to have been tampered with, leading police to warn residents that mail placed into the box may have been taken.

Around 6:25 a.m. Friday, police confirmed the box at the Clark Street post office had been forced open.

On social media, police wrote, "If you used this drive up mail-box (the one on the right if you are looking at the building) yesterday evening or overnight, it's possible that any items you put inside were taken."
