Man, 19, Threatened Woman With Gun, Smashed Phone: South Windsor Police

The man is accused of threatening a woman with a gun and dragging her around a basement by her hair, according to police.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A 19-year-old South Windsor man is accused of threatening a woman with a gun and dragging her around a basement by her hair during a domestic violence incident, according to police.

The man was arrested Jan. 30 on a warrant in connection with a domestic violence incident earlier in the month.

Police said he was found to have smashed the victim’s phone and pulled a gun on her, while threatening her and others harm. He also grabbed the victim’s hair violently and dragged her around a basement while placing the gun on her neck, according to police.

He was arrested on charges of intentional cruelty to persons, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace, first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, and first-degree unlawful restraint. He was held in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
