Man Charged In Connection With South Windsor Commercial Caper
An attempted commercial break-in has cost a man two criminal charges in South Windsor, police said.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An East Hartford man is facing a pair of charges and a Feb. 19 court date in connection with a commercial break-in attempt on Kimberly Drive.
Anthony Thompson, 46, was charged with third-degree attempted criminal trespass, and atrempted larceny, according to a report. Judicial system records show that he posted a $10,000 bond in the case and was released from custody.
The incident took place at 7:37 p.m. on Jan. 30, at 80 Kimberly Drive, police said. That is the listed address of Metals Testing Co.

According to a report, Thompson was observed on surveillance video attempting to cut through a fence on the property. Thompson was later identified with the assistance of the West Hartford Police Department and an arrest warrant was obtained, police said.
Thompson was located by state police and turned over to the SWPD, according to a report.
