Man Charged in South Windsor Dine-and-Dash Incident: Police
Recent arrests by the South Windsor Police Department include charges of larceny, narcotics, assault and DUI.

The following information has been provided by the South Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Sixth-degree larceny:
South Windsor Police officers were dispatched to a business at Evergreen Walk for a larceny complaint at about 6 p.m. on March 10.

A restaurant manager reported a customer left without paying for his meal. Officers found the man in a nearby field and arrested him.
Timothy Doyle, 24, of 93 Ivy Lane, South Windsor, was arrested on a charge of sixth-degree larceny and was released on a $500 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on March 24.

Fourth-degree larceny:
James Arroyo, 25, of 91 Stoughton Road, East Windsor, was arrested March 4 on an arrest warrant and charged with fourth-degree larceny.
Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol:
On Saturday, Feb. 27, at about 1 a.m., a South Windsor Police officer checked on a running vehicle on Bidwell Road. The officer suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested the man, Adolphus Gayle, 34, of 173 Brook Street, Bristol. Gayle was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
On Friday, March 4, at about 1 a.m., a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on John Fitch Blvd. for a violation. During the roadside interview, the officer suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested the woman, Nancy Klar, 49, of 26 Sunnyside Drive, South Windsor, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
On Saturday, March 12, at about 7:30 p.m., a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on Pierce Road for a violation. The officer suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested the man, Mark Roy, 57, of 1250 Sullivan Ave., South Windsor. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended.
Narcotics violations:
On Monday, Feb. 29, at about 9 a.m., a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on John Fitch Blvd. for a violation. The officer saw a small plastic bag containing three pills in plain view. The operator admitted she did not have a prescription for the narcotic pills.
Officers arrested the woman, Jessica Hirth, 23, of 448 North Main Street, Manchester, on charges of possession of narcotics not in original container, failure to wear seatbelt, failure to carry insurance card and cell phone violation.
On Tuesday, March 1, at about 10 a.m., a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on Strong Road for a violation. During the roadside interview the officer learned the car was neither registered nor insured and that both occupants were in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrested both occupants, Lisa Beaulieu, 46, of 3 West Road, Vernon, and Stephen Skowronek, 46, of 655 Talcottville Road, Vernon. Beaulieu was charged with possession of drug and Skowronek was charged with failure to display registration plate, misuse of plates, no insurance, operating a motor vehicle while under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Disorderly Conduct / Third-degree assault:
On Sunday, Feb. 28, at about 3 a.m., South Windsor Police officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute at a Candlewood Drive home. Officers learned that a woman had engaged in an argument with a male resident and scratched his neck. Officers arrested the woman, Gianna Rovezzi, 26, of 147 Candlewood Drive, South Windsor. Rovezzi was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
Interfering with an Officer:
Miesha Campbell, 31, of 59 Beldon St., Hartford, was arrested March 3 on a charge of interfering with an officer. The charge stems from a December 2015 incident in which she allegedly gave a false name to officers who were investigating a parking lot collision she was involved in. Investigators later determined her true identity and obtained an arrest warrant for her.
Criminal Violation of a Restraining Order:
On Monday, March 7, South Windsor Police officers were dispatched to a business on Tamarack Avenue for a domestic problem complaint. Officers learned that a man had been driving around the business where his former girlfriend worked, in violation of an active restraining order. The man approached the victim and gave her some items, then texted her after he left the parking area.
Officers later contacted the man and asked him to meet at police headquarters. Officers then arrested the man, Jason Kenyon, 30, of 194 Wildwood Ave., Springfield, Mass. on a charge of criminal violation of a restraining order.
Second-degree failure to appear:
On Sunday, Feb. 28, a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on John Fitch Blvd. for a violation. Officers learned the operator was wanted on a re-arrest warrant by Manchester Police. Officers arrested the man, Samuel Tawia, 30, of 490 Tolland St., East Hartford, on a charge of second-degree failure to appear.
On Thursday, March 10, South Windsor Police officers were dispatched to a breach of peace complaint on Graham Road in the 200 block. Officers located the involved parties and learned that the male involved was wanted on a re-arrest warrant. Officers arrested the man, Arthur Scott, 25, of 32 Lennox Street, Hartford. He was charged with second-degree failure to appear.
