Man Faces DUI Charge in South Windsor Crash
The man was arrested on a warrant after becoming unconscious during the initial booking process and was hospitalized for treatment: Police

South Windsor Police have charged a man with DUI in connection to a motor vehicle accident earlier this month.
Steven Lang, 33, of 62 Manor Circle, East Hartford, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Jan. 29. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
Police said Lang’s charges stem from a Jan. 15 motor vehicle accident on Route 5. Officers found that Lang had struck a vehicle and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

During arrest processing at headquarters, Lang became unconscious and was transported to a hospital for treatment, according to police.
An arrest warrant was later obtained and served Friday morning.

Lang was later released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 8.
