Man Shoves Co-Worker, Knocks Him Unconscious: South Windsor Police

A Manchester man has been charged with assaulting a fellow employee during an argument.

South Windsor Police have charged a Manchester man with shoving a co-worker, who fell backwards and was knocked unconscious.

Police responded to an assault at Global Turbine Component Technologies, 125 South Satellite Road, on Wednesday and officers learned that during an argument one employee had shoved another, according to Lt. Scott Custer.

Custer said the victim fell backwards and struck his head, knocking him unconscious. The victim regained consciousness and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers arrested William Baker, 59, of 110 Leland Drive, Manchester. He was charged with second-degree assault and was later released on a $2,500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 17.
