Man Smashes Girlfriend's Cell Phone, Violates Protective Order: South Windsor Police

The man was arrested following the domestic dispute Tuesday night.

South Windsor police charged a town man for violating a protective order following a domestic dispute Tuesday night.

Police responded to a Brook Street home on the report of a domestic problem around 10 p.m. on June 23.

Officers learned that a man living there had wrestled a cell phone away from his girlfriend and smashed it, according to police.

Officers arrested the man, Jeffrey Dallaire, 34, of 56 Brook St. in South Windsor. He was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct. Dallaire was held on a $10,000 surety bond and will be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, June 24.
