Man Suffers Head Wounds In South Windsor Assault
The victim entered a gas station Tuesday afternoon saying he had been assaulted.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Police are investigating after a man was assaulted Tuesday. Police said the victim walked into the Mobil gas station at the intersection of Route 5 and Mascolo Road at around 5:20 p.m. He was bleeding from a head wound and stated that he had been assaulted.
Officers and medical staff arrived on scene to treat the victim who was uncooperative. The victim's injuries were minor, according to police.

A review of video surveillance shows the male victim got out of a car on Mascolo Road, which drove off; he was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans and bleeding from the head.
Police are requesting information from anyone who may have been in the area of Mobil or McDonald's and saw any suspicious activity.
