SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A routine traffic stop Tuesday evening turned into much more than that for an Oklahoma man, when police discovered warrants out of Texas for failing to appear in court on charges including indecent sexual contact with a child.

William C. Young, 44, of Eagletown, Okla., was taken into custody at 6:09 p.m. Additional charges against him from Cleveland, Texas include burglary of habitation and criminal mischief, according to police.

The warrants are extraditable, and Young is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond. He is slated to appear Wednesday in Manchester Superior Court, police said.
