Man Who Groped Teenage Girl Sought By South Windsor Police

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who recently groped a 17-year-old girl at the Target store on Buckland Hills Drive.

On Aug. 6 around 6 p.m., the pictured man walked into Target and aimlessly walked through several aisles. "It appears as if the individual is recording females in the store with his cell phone as he is sexually gratifying himself," according to a statement from police.

The man approached a 17-year-old girl and was again seen gratifying himself, at which point the girl walked to another aisle. The man groped the victim from behind, then fled the store after being confronted by the girl, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s to mid-30s, standing about 5-foot-11.
