The SOUTH WINDSOR FARMERS MARKET OPENS JUNE 29th

·     New Day: Saturdays

·      New Time: 10AM to 1PM

·New Location: @ the South Windsor Community Center, 150 Nevers Rd.

We invite you to meet and support our local farmers, artisans, musicians, chefs, and nutrition experts! Our OPENING DAY event begins at 9.30am and will feature an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Mayor of South Windsor, Tom Delnicki, and a guest appearance by the SW Community Brass Ensemble.

The SW Farmers Market will sponsor a full schedule of music, cooking demos, healthy eating workshops, pony rides, a kids’ train, petting zoo, many kids activities and games, yoga, gardening workshops, child car safety seat check, bubble makers… and a few surprises!

 The Market will be OPEN every Saturday from June 29 thru October 12, at the South Windsor Community Center and is...now a SNAP Certified Market!

Products sold at the Market will include: 

Vegetables, Eggs, Goat Cheese, French Bread & Pastry, Honey, Maple Syrup, Fruits, Beef, Lamb, Pork, Cupcakes, Pastries, Olive Oil, Herbs, Mushrooms, Milk, Alpaca, Wool, Soaps, Lotions, Nuts, Artwork, Jewelry, Chocolates, and many CT-made Specialty Food Products.

We suggest you bring small bills and your own market bags.

The South Windsor FOOD Alliance is a Sub-Committee of the SW Park & Recreation Commission and is working to support local farming and local food producers in an effort to create new ventures for farms and food production in South Windsor.
