Million Dollar LOTTO! Winner Sold At South Windsor Store
The winning ticket, worth just over a million dollars pre-tax, was purchased by an East Hartford resident, according to the CT Lottery.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An East Hartford resident recently walked into the Snaxx Plus Mobil convenience store, just over the town line on Route 5 in South Windsor, and walked out holding a LOTTO! ticket worth 7 figures.
The winning ticket paid out $1,075,269 prior to taxes, and the winner's prize was claimed Monday, according to the CT Lottery website.
The winner's name was not revealed in the CT Lottery's updated public listing of wins of $10,000 or more. Spokesperson Tara Chozet said, "Winners have the option of not having their name listed on our website. In the past, our system was set up so that in order to remove a name, we had to remove the entire entry, meaning it looked as though a prize was still out there. We updated the system so that we can still remove the winners' names, but keep the information about the game, date of claim, and prize amount public."
