More Campus Notes - South Windsor College Students

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — College students from South Windsor recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Thirty-six student-athletes from Eastern Connecticut State University qualified for the Little East Conference (LEC) All-Academic Team in the spring 2017 semester. In order to qualify for the team, student-athletes must have achieved sophomore academic and athletic status with cumulative GPAs of at least 3.30. Among the qualifiers is Taylor Pendergast of South Windsor, a member of the lacrosse team who majors in Psychology.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Three South Windsor residents made the Dean's List for the 2017 spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. They are Glenn Bittner, who is studying chemical engineering; Jason Beaulieu, who is studying computing and information technologies; and Alexander Griswold, who is studying film and animation. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Seton Hall University is pleased to announce three students from South Windsor qualified for spring 2017 Dean's list and to congratulate them for their outstanding academic achievements. They are Brendan Finnegan, Kalee Mabey and Olivia Zaino. Qualifications for Dean's list include enrolling as a full-time matriculated student with a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits, completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4 or above, and with no grades lower than "C".
