Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester, in which more than 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
  Honorees from South Windsor are Elise Clark, Kyle Berson, Tyler Nese, Melissa Poinelli, Devon Cavanaugh, Cyrus Yeboah, Angela Clark, Jessica Vieira, Sarah Mazzaro, Olivia Chaisson, Lindsay Fishman, Aaron Matus, Emma Thibedeau and Zachary Donahue. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA

• Kylee Sodel of South Windsor has been named to the president's list at James Madison University for the fall 2023 semester. Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. Sodel is majoring in international affairs.
• Gina Bretz of South Windsor has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the fall 2023 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Bretz is majoring in anthropology.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Madeline Fischer of South Windsor was named to the University of Alabama Dean's List for fall semester 2023. A total of 13,950 students enrolled during fall semester 2023 were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).
