Campbell University School of Law, Raleigh NC

  • South Windsor resident Maison June Bergeron was among the graduates as Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law conferred 145 Juris Doctor degrees on Friday, May 12, during its 45th hooding and graduation ceremony at the J.S. Dorton Arena.

  • Two South Windsor residents were named to Clark University's spring 2023 Dean's List:
    Devon E. Kevetos and Thatcher Richard were named to second honors. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

College of Our Lady of the Elms, Chicopee MA

  • Jacob Slahtosky, of South Windsor, was named to the College of Our Lady of the Elms spring 2023 Dean's List. Slahtosky was among more than 400 students named to the spring 2023 Dean's List. To qualify, a full-time student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher, without incompletes.

  • Three students from South Windsor were named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester. Samantha Deras is majoring in journalism and is a member of the Class of 2026. Lorina Sediqi is majoring in communication studies and is a member of the Class of 2026. Olivia Trzaski is majoring in creative writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2026.The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

  • Devesh Kakkar of South Windsor has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Kakkar was among more than 5,300 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 264th Commencement exercises May 5 - 6, 2023, at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY

  • Adria Dias, a sophomore psychology major from South Windsor, has been named to the Le Moyne College spring 2023 Dean's List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.

Plymouth State University, Plymouth NH

  • Sean Kennedy of South Windsor has been named to the Plymouth State University President's List for the spring 2023 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Kennedy is majoring in meteorology.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

  • Three students from South Windsor were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. They are Charles Lagasse, who is in the computing security program; Ellinor Edstrom, who is in the graphic design program; and Matt Wylie, who is in the human-centered computing program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

  • Select students have been named to the spring 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. South Windsor honorees are Julie Brady, Brandon Shover and Amanda Walsh.

Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield MA

  • STCC celebrates the accomplishment of the 764 students who were named to the spring 2023 dean's list. The dean's list is published each semester to recognize excellence in academic performance. To be considered, degree-seeking students must earn 12 or more college level credits in the current semester, or a total of 12 or more combined college-level credits earned during the fall and spring semesters, and achieve a 3.3 or above grade point average. Honorees from South Windsor are Seth Egnasko, Nicole Grasso and Jessica Pukalski.

University of Tampa, Tampa FL

  • The University of Tampa hosted a commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 6, to honor the 1,525 degree-seeking candidates at the University's 156th commencement. Daniel Milluzzo of South Windsor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in finance, and Jason Slahtosky of South Windsor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting.
