Bates College, Lewiston ME

• Surya Ramasamy of South Windsor graduated after majoring in economics at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Ramasamy, the child of Balasubramanian Ramasamy and Anitha Elango of South Windsor, is a 2016 graduate of Avon Old Farms School. Ramasamy was inducted into the Bates Scholar-Athlete Society, an organization which honors graduating seniors who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or have received special nomination from the faculty for outstanding academic achievement in their junior and senior years, and who have participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of three years.

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University is pleased to recognize the Class of 2020 who have completed their graduate and undergraduate studies to earn a Bryant University degree, one which has more value now than at any time in Bryant's history. Nise Kuriakose of South Windsor earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Analytics. Jack Amato of South Windsor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance. Laura Feiereisen of South Windsor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Marketing.

Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY

• Kerry Sullivan, of South Windsor, has graduated from Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been named to the spring 2020 Dean's List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above. More than 700 members of the class of 2020 were eligible to graduate from Le Moyne.

Palmer College of Chiropractic, San Jose CA

• Brent Young of South Windsor graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic's West campus in San Jose, Calif., on June 4, 2020.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Stephanie Dunia, Olivia Flint, James Fournier, Michael Green, William Pineo and Jessica Smith, all of South Windsor, have been named to the spring 2020 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University is pleased to announce the 2020 College of Arts & Sciences Senior Awards. Students receiving awards are selected for a significant contribution to the department. Jessica M. Eldredge, of South Windsor, has been awarded the Nancy Hoar Excellence in Communication Award by Western New England University College of Arts & Sciences. This award is presented to the graduating senior with the highest overall GPA in Communication.
