Panhandler Arrested for FTA in South Windsor
A man looking for money was arrested for skipping out on a court date, police said.

SOUTH WINDSOR, — A man looking for money was arrested for skipping out on a court date, police said.
Police on Sunday, received a complaint about a panhandler on Ellington Road, according to a report. The man was soliciting money from motorists and was wanted on a re-arrest warrant, police said.
Dale Burgess, 37, of Talcott Ave., Vernon, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, police said. His initial charge out of Vernon was for driving under suspension, court records show.

Burgess is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on March 6, police said.
