Pending Snowstorm Wreaks Havoc With State Tournament Schedule

Due to the impending large snowstorm due to hit Connecticut Tuesday, a number of changes have been made to CIAC winter tournaments and events.

• The Class LL and L boys swimming championships originally scheduled for Tuesday will now be held today at Wesleyan University: Class L at 1:30 p.m., and Class LL at 6 p.m.
• The Class S and M boys swimming championships originally scheduled for Wednesday will now be held Thursday at Wesleyan University: Class S starting at 1:30 p.m. and Class M at 6 p.m.
• The State Open diving championship will now be held Friday at Middletown High School.
• The Division III boys ice hockey semifinals scheduled for Tuesday have been rescheduled for Thursday at Ingalls Rink with the same game times.
• The Class LL and M boys basketball semifinals scheduled for Tuesday have been rescheduled for Wednesday at the same sites and times as originally scheduled.
