[Photo Gallery] Wapping Fair Day 1

The first day of the 120th annual Wapping Fair got off to a successful start Thursday, with exhibits, food, vendors and live entertainment by South Windsor High junior James MacPherson and his band Bansai Trees.

Some 20,000 people are expected to visit the fair, which runs through Sunday evening. The event is sponsored by the South Windsor Jaycees, who use the fair as a fundraiser for its various community efforts.
