[Photo Gallery] Wapping Fair Day 3

OK, the Wapping Fair was shut down at 6:30 p.m. yesterday due to inclement weather, but that didn’t stop people from enjoying the festivities anyway.

Check out the photo gallery to see some of the fun that took place before the rain and wind shut everything down.

Things that I learned yesterday:

• Mr. Potato Head (or the lady who dressed up like him in front of the Wapping Big Potato stand) is a cannibal. That, my friends, is a South Windsor Patch exclusive. You're welcome.

• After seeing the livestock yesterday, I want a goat and a bunny.

• The people of South Windsor are incredibly kind. No foolin' and I'm not trying to curry any favor. Nor am I trying to flavor any curry.

• Paul Petrillo, the chairman of the Wapping Fair, has done an amazing job this year.
