Police: Man Had AK-47 In Hartford, Slapped Woman In South Windsor
Both the South Windsor and Hartford police departments collaborated on the investigation.
SOUTH WINDSOR/HARTFORD, CT — A South Windsor man already facing domestic assault charges in South Windsor over the weekend was also charged by Hartford police for weapons violations.
According to the South Windsor Police Department, Mike D. Ortiz-Morales, 34, of South Windsor, was charged in connection with a domestic violence-related incident in which a female victim was slapped in the face.
He was given a misdemeanor summons and was slated to appear in Manchester Superior Court charges on Monday.

But according to the Hartford Courant, Ortiz-Morales was also charged with bringing an assault rifle and a pistol as well as high-capacity magazines to his workplace later Saturday.
Both South Windham and Hartford police worked together on the investigation.
