Police: Vernon Man Hit Shed and Fled in South Windsor
The man is accused of fleeing the scene of an accident.

South Windsor police arrested a Vernon man for allegedly hitting a shed at a Leah Lane home with his vehicle and fleeing the scene late Sunday night, according to a press release.
Jared Lee, 31, of 20 Worchester Road in Vernon, was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive in proper lane.
South Windsor Police responded to the Leah Lane home at about 11 p.m. on Jan. 18 and said that the vehicle had left the roadway and hit a shed on the property.

Lee is accused of fleeing the scene on foot and officers later located him at his home and took him into custody, according to the press release.
Lee was later released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 2.
