Okay, so you've had your bicycle tuned up, have your helmet ready, and are about to go out and explore all that South Windsor has to offer on 2 wheels. Then you have the thought "what am I going to do with my bike when I get there?"
So here's what you can do. Use the Bicycle Rack locator map on the web published by South Windsor Walk and Wheel Ways (http://goo.gl/maps/ylX4b). Not only will this Google Map show you where you can find bike racks, it also has other bicycle facilities mapped, like bike lanes and bike shops.
South Windsor Walk and Wheel Ways has deployed and installed racks all over the town. You can find them in many of the parks, at the Little League complex, VMP, and thanks to recent additions, Town Center (Stop & Shop), Geissler's Plaza, and DQ Grill and Chill. There area also racks at the library, and even a local church.
SW WWW has a cost share program for business or other groups who'd like to put a rack in, splitting the cost 50/50. If your facility is interested, you can find more info on our web site, www.swwww.org.
We encourage you to get out and see the town from ground level, be safe, and securely park your bike at one of our racks.
