Runners From South Windsor Compete In Boston Marathon

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A pair of runners from South Windsor competed in the 2022 Boston Marathon Monday. Nearly 25,000 runners finished the marathon, including more than 350 from Connecticut.

Everett Hackett, 32, of Hartford was the top Connecticut runner in 50th place with an official time of 2:24:56. Laura Pierce, 40, of Woodbridge placed 127th among women and 2,251st overall with a time of 2:55:41, according to the Boston Athletic Association.

South Windsor resident Tom Geer, 39, finished the 26.2-mile run in 2:50:17. Adam Bulewich, 45, completed the course in 3:08:04.
