‘Safety Risk’: Police Look to Identify Vehicles Driving on Private Land In South Windsor

The incidents were reported Jan. 23 by a nearby homeowner.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police are asking for the public’s help after a resident reported repeated incidents of vehicles driving onto private property near Vibert Road, raising both damage concerns and safety risks in a secluded area off Main Street.

According to the South Windsor Police Department, the report was received Jan. 23 from a homeowner whose property abuts Vibert Road. The resident told officers that multiple vehicles have been entering and driving across the land, leaving visible damage.

Police said the behavior poses a safety concern because of the isolated location and the way the vehicles are being operated. Investigators are working to identify the owners and operators of the vehicles shown in photos shared by police.
