Should South Windsor Help Area Homeless Shelter?
Town officials are considering possible aid to Vernon's Tri-Town Shelter.

With state funding being cut off from Vernon’s Tri-Town Shelter, South Windsor officials are considering whether the town should lend a hand.
The homeless shelter has 15 beds and serves Vernon, Manchester and South Windsor, but town officials want to study the issue before committing any funding.
While there appeared to be some support of the town doing something to help the shelter, part of the concern is whether South Windsor residents are utilizing the facility, in addition to just how the town should provide funding.
