Snow Alters State Tournament Game Schedules

A Friday morning snowfall that caused numerous school districts to cancel classes has also wreaked havoc with the CIAC state basketball and hockey tournaments.

Some tournament games slated for Friday will go on as scheduled, but a number of others have been postponed until Saturday.

Here is the updated schedule of games that had originally been planned for Friday.

Class L

• No. 13 New London at No. 4 Middletown, Saturday, 4:30 p.m.

Class M

• No. 10 Tolland at No. 2 Plainfield, Saturday, 2 p.m.
• No. 5 Prince Tech at No. 4 Holy Cross, Saturday, 1 p.m.
