The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue facing our town is taxes and spending, which needs to be addressed. I would like to complete a forensic budget analysis for the last 5 years so we can analyze those numbers and accomplish a more fiscally responsibility budget, accountable and planning.

I am the only Military Veteran - USAF, the only South Windsor Native, and the Senior Town Council Candidate (8 years). As the only South Windsor Native, I am fortunate to see the changes thru the years, from kindergarten in the basement of the Church on Main St. to building new schools. As the Senior Council Member, I have had the opportunity to progress South Windsor into the 21st Century. I have volunteered for our town for the last 25 years in many capacities which has offered me the opportunity to interact with our diverse community on many levels. I also work for another town which affords me the ability to understand the functions of Local Government in many areas.

I believe we need to look at Smart Growth in a way that could benefit the citizens of South Windsor. We need to create a strong Economic base that could offset the taxes and ease the financial burden on the residents. I also believe in preserving the agricultural feel that our town has to offer since that is what South Windsor was founded on. I also support our Schools and the direction we are we are heading, which is critical to the future of our community.
