He was arrested after admitting going to a residence to assault a person, according to police.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An East Windsor man found himself in more trouble than expected Monday, after smearing feces all over his holding cell at the South Windsor Police Department.

Around 8:15 a.m., police responded to a suspicious person complaint on Marty Lane, and located a suspect who had previous disputes with a resident there. The man was found to be carrying a BB pistol and two knives, and admitted to officers that he was at the home to assault the resident, Deputy Chief Scott Custer said.

Carl Osuna, 45, of 178 Main St., East Windsor, was charged with breach of peace, carrying a dangerous weapon, criminal attempt to commit third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief.

While in a holding cell, Osuna wiped the cell with his feces and attempted to flood the toilet, creating a biohazard that requires professional decontamination, Custer said.
