South Windsor-Based Energy Technology Company Lauded For Innovation

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A locally-based energy technology company has been lauded by U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy for its innovation in producing greener, lower cost heat and power solutions.

Enviro Power, based at 220 Burnham Road in South Windsor, was named June’s "Innovator of the Month" by the senator. The company focuses on replacing aging heating equipment with better solutions for homeowners and businesses.

Their SmartWatt Boiler technology is an efficient heating system designed to generate close-to-zero cost electricity and provide backup power while reducing carbon emissions and enhancing grid resiliency.
