South Windsor Buys Property For New School
The town is going forward as the purchase of seven acres was recently approved by the council.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - The Town Council voted unanimously to approve the purchase of a seven-acre property on Ellington Road for $350,000, the Journal-Inquirer reported. The land, currently owned by St. Francis of Assisi Church Corp., are adjacent to Pleasant Valley Elementary School.
The school district has a 10-year master plan to construct new elementary schools that will replace Pleasant Valley School, according to the Journal-Inquirer. The purchase of the land is intended in part to avoid a temporary move for school functions by providing additional space.
