South Windsor Child Care Program Cancelled Due To Sex Offender
A child care program at Temple Beth Hillel will be cancelled as its president is on the sex offender registry, according to a report.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - The YMCA is canceling a child care agreement with Temple Beth Hillel after finding out that the congregation's president is on the state's sex offender registry, according to the Hartford Courant. The YMCA had been planning on using the synagogue for before- and after-school programs due to a space crunch.
The concerns are around Temple Beth Hillel President Jason Wasserman, who pleaded guilty in 2010 to charges of enticing a minor by computer and attempting to commit risk of injury to a minor.
The program will be relocated to the Indian Valley Family YMCA in Vernon.
