South Windsor Cops Break Up Halloween Party With 100 Minors At Home Littered With Alcohol Containers: Report
An adult is accused of hosting a Halloween night party with minors and alcohol in South Windsor, police said.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police in South Windsor broke up a Halloween night party involving about 100 minors at a home littered with alcohol containers, according to a law enforcement report.
Georgina D. Twumasi, 44, of South Windsor, was charged with "permitting a minor to illegally possess liquor in a dwelling or failing to halt such illegal possession," according to an incident report.
Police said they received a text-to-911 alert at 9:57 p.m. Friday about a party at which "juveniles" were consuming alcohol.

According to an incident report, when officers arrived, they found what appeared to be at least 100 "juveniles" on the property and alcohol containers strewn about in the backyard, back deck and kitchen area.
When officers questioned Twunmasi, she claimed to not know there was a party taking place despite being home, according to an incident report.

Twunmasi is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 19, police said.
