South Windsor Daycare Facing Abuse Charges to Restructure

A South Windsor daycare center being investigated in a case of unreported abuse has chosen to restructure.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A South Windsor daycare center being investigated in a case of unreported abuse has chosen to surrender its licenses and will transition to a new operator, according to an story posted by Fox61.

It is located at 1742 Ellington Road.

According to the Fox 61 story, the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood said that the current management of the Mother Goose Children’s Center will continue to oversee childcare until Sept. 28, under “enhanced monitoring.” of the facility.

The abuse allegations date back to April. Office of Early Childhood Commissioner David Wilkinson told Fox61the allegations involved an unreported instance of a childcare staffer being too aggressive.
