South Windsor Garners Votes in Preseason Baseball Poll

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — After an outstanding 2017 regular season was marred by a shocking opening-round loss in the Class LL state tournament, the South Windsor High School baseball team is looking for redemption this year.

The Bobcats did not crack the top 10, but received considerable voter support in the preseason balloting of sports media members.

Defending Class LL champion Staples received 10 of 11 first-place votes to top the rankings, followed by runner-up Amity Regional, which also garnered a first-place nod.

Here are the top 15, plus all other schools which received votes.
