South Windsor Garners Votes in State Boys Lacrosse Poll

The Bobcats opened the season with six straight victories.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — The top five positions in the latest weekly GameTimeCT.com high school boys lacrosse poll did not change, with top-ranked Darien again receiving every first-place vote.

The Blue Wave, two-time defending Class L champions, opened the season with seven straight victories. They are followed in the polls by New Canaan and Wilton.

South Windsor (6-0) did not crack the top 10, but received some support from voters.

  3. Wilton (5-2)
  4. Greenwich (6-2)
  5. Ridgefield (4-2)
  6. Fairfield Prep (5-3)
  7. Staples (6-2)
  8. Glastonbury (5-2)
  9. New Fairfield (8-0)
  10. Notre Dame-West Haven (9-0)

Also receiving votes: Somers (7-0), Cheshire (6-2), Xavier (5-2), Joel Barlow (4-4), South Windsor (6-0).
