South Windsor Gets Votes in Latest Softball Poll

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An impressive opening game enabled the South Windsor High School softball team to earn votes in the latest balloting of coaches and media members.

The Bobcats (1-0) blanked Manchester 6-0 to open the season on the correct foot. Four games are scheduled in the next five days, against CCC foes Newington, East Hartford, Glastonbury and Bristol Central.

Seymour (1-0) received eight of 13 first-place votes to top the balloting for the second straight week.
