South Windsor Gridders Get Votes in Football Poll

The Bobcats reached the season's midpoint with a perfect 5-0 record.

Undefeated Darien is still reigning as top dog in Connecticut high school football, receiving all 24 first-place votes in the latest weekly poll of media members, compiled by GameTimeCT/New Haven Register.

South Windsor (5-0), which had a bye last week, missed cracking the top 10, but received considerable support from voters in the most recent balloting.

Here are the top 10, as well as all other teams who collected votes, with records through Oct. 15.
