South Windsor High Girls Basketball Team to Hold Fundraiser Friday

Bobcats will donate all gate and concession stand proceeds to Sandy Hook Memorial Scholarship Fund

The South Windsor High girls basketball team is sponsoring a “Swish for Sandy Hook” fundraiser for its home game against Weaver on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.

All proceeds from the gate and concession stand will be donated to the Sandy Hook Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Spectators will also be treated to a game featuring two teams that are 7-1.

The Bobcats have won six straight games and have an average margin of victory of 41.4 points.

Weaver, meanwhile, is the defending state Class M champion and have won three straight games.
