South Windsor High School Wants More Fields, Lighting
The high school's principal is hoping to add fields and lighting for the high school's athletics program.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Following a review by the New England Association of School and Colleges, officials are saying that the school needs to address the lack of athletic fields and adequate lighting. According to the Hartford Courant, Principal Daniel Sullivan is working with the board of education and the town on both fronts.
One issue has been that the school's multi-purpose field was closed for 14 days during the field hockey and soccer season due to poor conditions.
Possible options include adding lighting at Bobcat Field, building an end zone entry gate, and adding visitor benches and permanent bathrooms. It's also possible a second turf field at Rotary Field in Nevers Park will be installed.
