UPDATE: South Windsor Police Search for 'Armed and Dangerous' Robber
Police are investigating the armed robbery of the Kap-n-Keg package store Friday morning.

South Windsor Police are looking for a man who robbed the Kap-n-Keg package store Friday morning and say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police responded to the store, located at 575 John Fitch Blvd (Route 5) in South Windsor, at 10:12 a.m.
Police are investigating and looking to identify a lone suspect, according to Sgt. Kristian R. Lindstrom.

The suspect is believed to be a white male who is approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a mustard yellow colored hooded sweatshirt. He also wore some type of mask covering the lower half of his face.
The suspect displayed a handgun during the incident.

The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored sedan (possibly black in color) with a possible partial Connecticut license plate of “4AL___”, according to Lindstrom.
No one was injured in the incident.
Lindstrom said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information as to the possible identity of the suspect is encouraged to NOT engage him in any way and to contact the South Windsor Police Department immediately at (860) 644-2551.
