South Windsor Man Accused of Throwing Cell Phone that Hit Infant During Domestic Dispute

Police said the man was in violation of a protective order from a previous dispute.

A South Windsor man is accused of throwing a cell phone that hit an infant during a domestic dispute and violating a protective order in the process on Friday night.

South Windsor Police arrested Jeffrey Dallaire, 33, of 56 Brook St., after responding to a domestic dispute on Brook Street at about 11 p.m. on Friday.

Police said that during the course of an argument between Dallaire and a female resident, he had thrown cell phone that hit an infant in the room.

Police said Dallaire continued to argue with the female resident and was uncooperative with responding officers. Police said his conduct was in violation of a protective order issued against him after a previous dispute.

Dallaire was charged with violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct. He is being held on a $30,000 surety bond and will be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Monday, Feb. 2.
