South Windsor Man Shot, Killed in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT - A young man from South Windsor was shot and killed in the north end of Hartford Thursday night, Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley reported on Twitter.

Police say the man was shot in the head around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Main and Earle streets and was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:29 p.m.

The victim, who was 22 years old, has been identified as Daylon Ore.
